From Boomers to Zoomers: Who Really Gets AI?

Hi friends,

Unimpressed by AI? Finding it all a bit of a yawn? 🥱🥱 

Look, I don’t hide the fact that I’m, ahem, old. Old enough to remember manual typewriters and carbon copies; floppy disks, fax machine fiascos, and rotary dial phones.

Old enough to recall writing letters home on onionskin airmail paper, as I traveled solo through Asia, looking for work 35+ years ago.

Yes, THAT old.

Because of my “tenure,” I've lived through more technology and communications revolutions than many, often while working with major tech companies like IBM and Motorola.

• Personal computing and networking. Check.

• Internet and mobile communications. Absolutely.

• Digital lifestyle and social media. You bet.

• Smart tech and connectivity. Of course.

So, my sense of wonder about Gen AI isn’t born of naivety, lack of experience, or limited exposure to advanced technologies.

Quite the opposite.

It stems from genuine excitement—excitement that consumer-friendly Gen. AI is placing extraordinary skills, opportunities, and potential within the reach of so many of us.

Generative AI feels like the technology I’ve been waiting for, my entire life.

While there are many no-code app. development platforms (we'll explore some in future newsletters), the new AWS Studio highlighted below, could be a game-changer. It promises that even complex enterprise applications can be built with minimal coding.
