It's like opening a box of chocolates - you never quite know what you'll get until you take a bite! 🍫 

From quizzes to illustrations, video to photo animations, music composition to limericks, slick presentations to no-code apps, and mock-ups of places and spaces - Gen AI has unlocked a brave new world of creativity and productivity.

Old hands might spot a few familiar favorites here, but with our rapidly growing audience, for some readers, a few of these may be fun discoveries.

AI SMORGASBORD

Microsoft is introducing autonomous artificial intelligence agents, or virtual employees, that can perform tasks such as handling client queries and identifying sales leads, as the tech sector strives to show investors that the AI boom can produce indispensable products. AI MADE EASY

Sim.ai makes it possible for anyone to create a no-code simulation model, build a website, and more.

This video, courtesy HeyGen demonstrates recent AI Avatar tech, but the tech has advanced since this, and I’ll be updating you on the latest developments soon.

AI TOOLKIT

Meet Meiro an ai-assisted quiz maker. It’s the first time I’ve featured Meiro, as it doesn’t integrate well into this platform, and you have to follow the link to try it out. I think I’ve set it up right, but let me know if there are glitches. I’d like to feature quizzes about AI-related subjects more frequently, so let me know if the quiz experience is good enough to make them a regular feature.

Apologies to those who may have previously tried this quiz, but the setup and experience are different in this app. Who knows, you might even get it right this time! 🐈️ 😂 

THROUGH A-EYES

Flux AI is a high-quality image generator. Flux Lora is a collection of “pre-trained” models offering distinctive artistic styles, including the ones below, which can easily be replicated without having to formulate the right style prompt.

Text breakthrough! This Flux image is probably the first time I’ve generated text that isn’t gobbledygook

ANIMATION

The photo below was animated using Kling.ai using a simple prompt: “Meeting my beautiful tabby cat for the first time.” I was particularly impressed that Kling added a cat that wasn’t present in the original photo.

MOCK-UPS

There are a ton of tools out there that can create all kinds of mock-ups and visualizations. This handy article from Apartment Therapy reviews some of the best free options for room design. The reviewer uploaded a ‘before’ image of her kitchen (below) and then tested different platforms to see how they would refresh it. The best three apps they recommend are:

THROUGH AI-EARS

Suno.ai composed the music from a simple text prompt, and Noisee.ai transformed it into a video. Of course, neither music nor visuals are perfect, but are illustrative of where this is heading.
